Dreadnaught
Considered the cornerstone of Australian heavy rock and metal, Dreadnaught is a band that continually re-invents and refines its sound making it a unique style of heavy metal music. With the release of their new album, ‘Caught the Vultures Sleeping,’ Dreadnaught are set to remind you of everything you love about the Australian metal scene.

Mason
Thrash metal band Mason have delivered commanding performances throughout the National and International metal scenes. Drawing on the Big 4, their music encapsulates the 80s thrash sound mixed with fast tempos and a dominating rhythm section. Mason will remind you that 80s metal is not dead, it merely resides in Melbourne.

Envenomed
Combining the heavy riff elements of classic thrash metal bands, Envenomed showcase a melodic heaviness in their music – but with a twist! Their debut album ‘Evil Unseen’ has received very positive reviews, securing them as one of Melbourne’s greatest metal acts.

Earth
A major influence in the Melbourne music-scene throughout the 90’s and early 00’s is Earth. They were one of the first bands to experience with the Melodic Death Metal style made popular in Gothenburg. Earth have experimented with their style and are set to deliver a performance that combines death metal, atmosphere and melody.

Truth Corroded
Truth Corroded are a Thrash / Death Metal act from South Australia. They offer a vicious and confronting sound, with strong commentary on politics, religion and society. Truth Corroded are ready to unleash their unique sound on an unsuspecting audience this October.

Fall and Resist
Coming from a variety of musical backgrounds, Fall and Resist attempt to create music that speaks to their audience. Their sound employs sorrowful melodies and hostile aggression designed to reflect the harsh realities of life. With blistering drums, driving song structures, hook-filled melodies and the occasional acoustic interlude, Fall and Resist have begun to develop their style into an energetic powerhouse.

Headbore
Headbore bring together the best elements of bands such as Machine Head and Lamb of God to forge a sound that is hook laden and charged with a crushing drive. Their debut album ‘Strength In Numbers’ demonstrates the sustained attack of melody and heaving groove that has become the band’s outstanding trademark.

Annihilist
Annihilist’s debut EP ‘Vol. 1’ blurs the lines between European melodic death metal and the new wave of American heavy metal. Their live performances are a vital aspect of what they have become, with technical riffage and blistering drums, Annihilist are set to explode on the stage this October.

Rick Grimm’s Illa Turba
From the blood and sweat and tears (that are also blood) of the modern day catalyst to anti-governmental notions and extreme encouragement comes the new wave Australian death metal powerhouse Illa Turba. Get ready for this savage hybrid of death, black and thrash!

The Ascended
The Ascended is a pure Groove and Melodic Metal band who tell the story of an ancient race of gods in their music. Their first instalment to this story was released in December 2015 with follow up recording set in the not too distant future. Their combination of Groove and Melody are set to kick off the night in a huge way!
